Question
Our new mobile crane has to look like a state of the art crane. After all, it is the first hybrid crane; unique in its kind. We are looking for a supplier who is able to meet our demand in a cost-efficient manner.
Opinion
Divide the panels into functional ‘pieces’ so that several parts fit together in one mould. This reduces the cost per product, without making concessions in quality and flexibility.
Advantage
Because the production batches will be relatively small, it is very important to keep the corresponding tooling costs as low as possible. By placing multiple products in one mould, fewer moulds are needed. This keeps the cost prices of the products at a competitive level. In this way, Phoenix 3D Metaal contributes to the realization of an innovative crane that meets the issues we have today in relation to the environment.
Spierings Cranes
The motto of Spierings Cranes; continuous improvement of hoisting. By putting the tower crane on wheels, Spierings already changed the industry for vertical transport in the 80s. Meanwhile, Spierings Mobile Cranes from Oss has grown into a trendsetting international company and they are building their own dream on that of others. Spierings has everything in-house, from engineering to production and from instruction to the operator to service and overhaul. Spierings breathes the mobile tower crane.
