A robust cover with ditto look that matches the design of the loader. The design is less expensive than a plastic version. This is due to eliminating the frame, which was necessary for sturdiness and stability of the cover. In addition, there is the advantage of replacing the mesh with 3D laser cutting. Normally the mesh is cut to size before it can be welded and processed.

We are looking for a metal cover to shield the engine compartment for our mini loader. We tested with plastic, but to obtain the right appearance and stiffness, additional facilities are needed, such as a frame.

Our advice

Use the clean lines in the design to create more stiffness and stability. Through local deformation we can create sufficient stiffness at the location of the suspension to place the hinges.

Replace the mesh for aeration with a grid that is cut using the 3D fibre laser.

Cutting these holes is part of the process of ‘cutting’ the contour. This saves extra processing and allows us to save costs.
