Manure robot housing
A housing with sufficient rigidity for vacuum suction, without losing sight of the high-end appearance: that was the message Lely gave us. We therefore made the housing in 3 mm stainless steel (304) and used the central housing reinforcement to emphasise the high-end look. It was then loaded with the front housing into one die, to reduce the cost of production.

The requirement
Help us to design and develop a housing with sufficient rigidity for vacuum suction, without losing sight of the high-end appearance.
Our advice
Make the housing in 3 mm stainless steel (304) and use the central housing reinforcement to emphasise the high-end look. It was then pressed with the front housing in one die, to reduce the cost of production.
The competitive advantage
A one-piece housing that meets both customer specifications and an absolutely high-end design. Includes a reduction in production costs by pressing two products simultaneously in one die.
